Mayor Martin Walsh last month appointed Jacob Wessel as the new Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS) liaison for Mission Hill, according to a press release.
ONS liaisons help strengthen communication between City Hall and residents and facilitate service requests.
Wessel, a native of California, worked previously as a research director for the Massachusetts Democratic Party and as a field organizer for U.S. Sen. Ed Markey. He graduated with a degree in political science from Tufts University, where he served as president of Tufts Democrats. Wessell currently lives on Beacon Hill.
