Impact Advisory Group Meeting, For 95 St. Alphonsus St. Please note that the purpose of this meeting is different than that of a traditional community meeting. As part of the development review process, Impact Advisory Group (IAG) members work closely with BPDA staff to identify the impacts of a project and recommend appropriate community benefits to offset those impacts. IAG meetings prioritize discussion between the project proponent (i.e. the developer) and IAG members.

Music /Dance/Art

HABITAT/ion, a multidisciplinary exhibition of alumni work inspired by the themes of habitat and/or habitation. Through a competitive jurying process, 86 works were selected out of 600 submissions, with artists representing MassArt alumni from 1954-2016. Bakalar Gallery, MassArt until July 15.

Everybody, Everything: Photographs by Andy Warhol, From 1958 until his death in 1987, Andy Warhol chronicled his daily life. This exhibition of Polaroid and black and white images offers a glimpse into Warhol’s obsessions and the fascinating world he built for himself in New York. Aug. 14-Oct. 21 in the President’s Gallery, MassArt.

Night Shift, On July 8, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), is teaming up with Night Shift Brewing to celebrate the final night of Matisse in the Studio. The Museum will host extended hours, from 5 to 10 pm, giving visitors a last chance to see and toast the popular exhibition before it closes July 9. To mark the occasion, Night Shift Brewing’s “Matisse” beer—a limited-edition saison with lavender—will be on tap in the MFA’s New American Café.

Public Notices

Closing of Parker Hill Branch of the Boston Public Library: Sat. July 1 with the last day of service June 30.
