4 charged with hurling items at cops

Four men are charged with hurling bottles, a chair and a propane tank off a roof deck at police officers on the street below in a July 7 incident at 717 Parker St, according to the Boston Police Department (BPD).

The men began dropping items near a police officer who was monitoring traffic due to a malfunctioning traffic light around 1:50 a.m., according to BPD. The men allegedly continued throwing items after being told to stop and were found by officers lying down on the roof deck “in an effort to conceal themselves,” according to BPD.

The men arrested, all Boston residents, include Sean Bonanno, 21; Thomas Duff, 21; Joseph Miskewicz, 22; and Vincent Nguyen, 21. All were charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, destruction of property, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
