Police warn of house break-ins

The local B2 Police Station reports that there have been four break-ins in Mission Hill homes over the past week, and residents are urged to be alert, according to City Councilor Mike Ross’s office.

Residents should call 911 to report any suspicious or unusual activity, even if it does not seem like an emergency. The police are happy to check out anything suspicious because it can prevent a serious crime.

To help prevent burglary, be sure to lock all doors and windows at all times; do not leave tools, ladders or similar items outside for burglars to use; and leave a spare key with a neighbor, not hidden outdoors.
