City Councilor Tito Jackson, who represents part of Mission Hill, will not run for mayor. He will run for reelection to his District 7 council seat instead, he said in a written statement today.
“The future is bright for Boston, from Dudley Square to Maverick Square to Kenmore Square and all the places in between,” Jackson wrote. “I look forward to the working with the next mayor to make Boston better than it is today.”
