Beth Israel treating bombing victims

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) treated 24 patients from yesterday’s Boston Marathon bombing, according to spokesperson Jerry Berger.

Nine of those patients had been released by this morning.

The hospital was in lockdown. But, Berger said, the hospital was opened to the public last night.

He said the hospital is offering counseling to families and to the hospital staff.
