A male victim was shot to death yesterday morning in the Mission Main housing development, according to the Boston Police Department.
The unidentified victim was found just before noon in the area of 17A Smith St. suffering multiple gunshot wounds. He later died at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
Mission Main has been the scene of several street shootings in recent years, including a 2010 killing that authorities attributed to a mistaken identity attack. In early March, a Roslindale teen was charged with allegedly opening fire with a handgun at Smith and Gurney streets.
