New Jersey native Chad Rosner was elected the new president of the Community Alliance of Mission Hill (CAMH) during a Sept. 17 meeting, after former leader Jessica Casey moved out of the city.
Rosner moved to Mission Hill in 2001 while a student at Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT) in 2001, he told the Gazette. He became active in 2006, after striking up a friendship with former CAMH President Rich Johnson.
“I hope to continue the work the alliance has done to make Mission Hill a better place to live and provide a strong voice for all the residents and businesses of our neighborhood,” he said.
Casey said Rosner was elected “with 100 percent support” by CAMH members.
CAMH is a membership-based neighborhood association that advises city government on zoning and other issues. For more information, see facebook.com/CommunityAllianceofMissionHill.
