Two local arts organizations were among 137 that recently received grants from the City’s Boston Cultural Council.
Wheelock Family Theatre at Wheelock College received $2,000, while the Massachusetts College of Art and Design Foundation received $2,500.
The BCC granted more than $300,000 total, partly from Massachusetts Cultural Council funds, and partly by matching those grants.
“Congratulations to all of the grant recipients, and thank you for your contributions to a thriving, healthy, innovative Boston,” said Mayor Martin Walsh in a press release.
