Thanks to Jim Hoffman, who has retired after decades as the director of Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services.
On his watch, the community development corporation is a key factor in Mission Hill’s vibrancy. It has helped to create and preserve affordable housing, and it has produced vast economic development in such projects as One Brigham Circle.
The forthcoming senior housing and mixed-use buildings in Roxbury Crossing are the latest legacy.
We have been lucky to have Jim, and we are also lucky that longtime project manager Pat Flaherty is taking over as MHNHS’s leader.
Their good work will continue.
