BRA board approves Fisher Ave. project

The proposed development at 40 Fisher Ave. was approved by the Boston Redevelopment Authority’s (BRA) board last month, according to a BRA press release.

Developer Jason Savage is proposing a 15-unit, 6-floor residential development for 40 Fisher Ave. The 22,039-square-foot project would have two 1-bedroom units, six 2-bedroom units and seven 3-bedroom units. The development would also have 10 parking spaces and 18 bicycle spots.

The project needs several variances, including for floor area ratio and insufficient front and rear yard.

Construction is expected to begin in the fall.
