The Boston Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees unanimously voted on Sept. 18 to name Kevin B. Churchwell, MD, President of the hospital. In this role, Dr. Churchwell (pictured) will play a more active role in external affairs, particularly in the local community and on state policy issues. “Dr. Churchwell’s promotion is recognition of his outstanding leadership, as well as part of our ongoing efforts to align senior management responsibilities to the ever-expanding internal and external challenges and demands on the Hospital,” said Boston Children’s CEO, Sandra L. Fenwick, in a statement.
