RIBBON-CUTTING AT THE TOBIN COMMUNITY CENTER

Scenes from an Oct. 31 ribbon-cutting at the Tobin Community Center for a renovated backyard space. The redesign of the backyard space was spearheaded by students from the Wentworth Institute of Technology, who conducted community outreach and drew up plans that former Mission Hill City Councilor Mike Ross brought to the City to get funding for the project. The space is named after Ida Graves, a longtime Mission Hill resident and activist who died recently.
