Nurtury acquires Franklin Square House Children’s Center

Franklin Square House Children’s Center, an organization which has served children and families of Mission Hill for over 30 years, has recently been acquired by Nurtury, according to a press release.

Nurtury is an organization that provides early care and education to children. This will be Nurtury’s 6th center in Greater Boston. Its other locations serve around 500 children from birth to age five.

Jen Demetros has been the center’s director for four years.

“This decision positions us to become part of one of the best and largest early education and care agencies in the City of Boston,” Demetros said, according to the press release.

“We are excited to welcome the Franklin Square House children, parents, and employees to Nurtury,” said Wayne Ysaguirre, President and CEO of Nurtury, according to the press release. “Delivering high quality early education and care to prepare children for kindergarten and beyond will continue to be our number one priority.”

Franklin Square House Children’s Center will remain at its current location at 1575 Tremont St. and will be renamed Nurtury at Franklin Square House.
