To vote in the Nov. 6 election that includes the presidential race on the ballot, voters must be registered by Oct. 17.
To qualify for registration, a person must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Massachusetts, and 18 or older on Election Day. Voters must update their registration if they move to a new address.
