Mission Hill Main Streets is doing good work in promoting local businesses in the LMA, including the “Nutcracker” posters reminding people to “Shop Mission Hill” that went up in Brigham Circle last month.
The LMA is an amazing place, one of the world’s great centers of medical care and research, with many businesses of its own. But Mission Hill offers a more diverse array of businesses (especially restaurants and pubs) with more of a community feel, and some excellent public parks that can balance the sometimes hectic intensity of the LMA. All of that is a short walk across Huntington from just about anywhere in the LMA.
If you work in the LMA and haven’t shopped Mission Hill, give it a try. We’re willing to bet you’ll come back for more.
