Boston Police have arrested a Mission Hill man in one of two attempted sexual assaults June 15 that left two women stabbed, according to the Boston Police Department’s Twitter feed (@Boston_Police) and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
Patrick Barry, 21, of 878 Huntington Ave. is in custody and will be arraigned today in Roxbury District Court, according to the DA’s Office.
The separate early-morning attacks along Huntington Avenue left two women with injuries that BPD previously described as “non-life-threatening.” Barry will be charged in relation to one of those attacks, in the area of Vancouver Street and Huntington Avenue, according to DA’s Office spokesperson Jake Wark.
The other attack occurred in the area of Huntington and Parker Hill Avenue, about a block from Barry’s home, but he has not been charged in that case.
Updated version: This story has been updated with information from the District Attorney’s Office clarifying the case in which Barry will be charged.
