Boston Police officers arrested a person suspected of breaking into a motor vehicle on Mission Hill on Dec. 29, according to bpdnews.com
Officers were responding around 5 p.m. to a report of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle on 12 Eldora St. when they observed a person matching the suspect’s description. The suspect fled, but the officers were able to catch him and place him under arrest after a brief struggle. He allegedly told the police he had attempted to break into about 30 vehicles, but was only successful once.
Police charged Dariberto Martinez, 29, of Roxbury with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.
