Patrick J. Stapleton, chief executive officer of Sherrill House Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center at 135 South Huntington Ave., was appointed to the Board of Registration of Nursing Home Administrators on Feb. 12 by Gov. Deval Patrick.
Board members are charged with the task of ensuring that nursing home administrators in the state are properly trained, competent and able to carry out their responsibilities in accordance with Department of Public Health regulations.
Stapleton joined Sherrill House in 2003 as the executive director, and was appointed CEO in 2005.
Sherrill House is an independent, not-for-profit nursing and rehabilitation center that provides a full range of services, including short-term rehabilitation care through its Return to Home program, traditional long-term care, and an Alzheimer’s and dementia care program.
